A Performance Based School
We are a performance based school- meaning that students learn the skills needed to play their instruments in private lessons, but they learn the language of music through playing with other each in a band. Playing in a group as a team motivates players to practice their own instrument , all while developing confidence in their skills in a creative, supportive environment where they can feel inspired to jam! This not only builds friendships creates but memories that will last a lifetime!
Groove Culture music school believes in the importance of teaching the FUNdamentals of music in the songs that students love. Doesn't that make sense!? Once students obtain a certain level of musical skills, they naturally grow curious about music history, music theory, and the many genres of music. This results in a well rounded, confident musician.
TC and Susan Dolgin are lovers of music , art and importantly kids!! They had a long time dream of building a space dedicated to kids (and adults) to come and energize their creative spirit. They opened Groove Culture Music School as a result. A safe, supportive environment open to students of all ages to learn new skills be inspired, and creative, gain confidence, and connect with friends.
Students can enjoy access to our studio where they can feel free to drop in and practice, consult with teachers or other players, jam with friends and have fun!
